FAMOUS HOODIES #2
From 2012 - Silicon Valley, CA
Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is as famous for his Adidas sandals and sweats as he is for his low-key-gajillionaire lifestyle, but apparently, the Wall Street honchos are hardly impressed with his signature style. In fact, his wardrobe on a recent fundraising visit to New York left some totally miffed, and led to what we now know as "Hoodiegate."
Zuckerberg made New York the first stop on his public offering road show last week, and he met with potential investors in, yes, a hoodie (much like Steve Jobs in a black mock turtleneck, it's just his thing). According to the New York Times, "The hoodie in Manhattan prompted, as Mr. Zuckerberg may have expected, a gush of approval and disdain. Hoodiegate, it came to be called, and it began to show signs of a culture war between the two coasts - Wall Street versus Silicon Valley. His critics saw it as a sign of immaturity and disrespect for those whom he expected to finance his company...His defenders said the hoodie signified Silicon Valley ethos: a brash, youthful self-confidence."

FAMOUS HOODIES #1
From August 1976 - Philadelphia
Rocky and its theme song have become a pop-cultural phenomenon and an important part of 1970s American popular culture. In 2006, the Library of Congress selected Rocky for preservation in the United States National Film Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".[4][5] The first sequel in the series, Rocky II, was released in 1979.

FAMOUS PUFFER JACKETS #3
From October 2015 - Canada
“Drakeposting” refers to a common meme of using two screen captures from Drake's "Hotline Bling" music video to denote preference of one thing over another. The top image would be of Drake turning his head away from an adjacent image or text with his hand extended as if to reject the image outright. The bottom image would then be Drake looking at another adjacent image or text with a look of satisfaction on his face as he points to it. The implication is that he (or the user posting the overall picture) prefers the bottom thing over the top thing.

Drake released a video for his hit song “Hotline Bling.” The four-and-a-half-minute clip, which sees Drake slow grooving against James Turrell–like Technicolor backgrounds, quickly became an Internet phenomenon. Fashion fans lusted after his collection of fall sweaters and jackets. (Online sales for that red Moncler puffer even doubled after its debut.)
